Mixed Quintet Heralds In New Screening Unit for Dartmouth Medical Centre

On a freezing cold Friday 12th January 2024, the Mixed Quintet played for the launch of a new Screening Unit for Dartmouth Medical Centre. The ribbon cutting was undertaken by Captain Andrew Bray of Britannia Royal Naval College who was accompanied by his wife, Lauren. Speeches were given by Chairman of the Trust Sir Richard Ibbotson and Dr Katie Giles. Interestingly, The new Captain of BRNC Andy Bray is none other than the twin brother of Drum Major Chris Bray of the Band of HM Royal Marines, Scotland.

The Quintet was made up of Rose on first Flute, Maxine on Cor Anglais, Monty on Alto Sax, Nick on Bassoon and myself, Phil on Trumpet. Well done to you all, great job!
